with stunning views from Whitsand Bay along the South Cornish
coast to Rame Head. It also overlooks the picturesque seaside
town of East Looe, the River Looe and the Banjo Pier.
As
part of the Westcliff Apartments, Plaidy was completed in 2006.
The
apartment has been developed with luxury, comfort and peace and
quiet as essential elements in its design. It is equipped to the
very highest standards in
terms of insulation, acoustics, electrics and heating. Plaidy
is warm and comfortable any time of the year as it has a fully
controllable gas central heating system – ideal for a winter’s
break. With the mild climate that Cornwall enjoys, for large parts
of the year you can of course sit out on your patio enjoying a
glass of fine wine and the splendid views.

with a personal patio and balcony where guests can sit out and
enjoy the glorious views in privacy.
Plaidy
is finished throughout to the highest standard. Attractive single
panel white oak veneer doors with Padouk inlay are complemented
with Italian designed, smooth polished chrome ‘wave style’ door
levers and the living area is finished with matching lacquered
oak floor boarding. Lighting can be adjusted to match your mood
with half oval flush mounted wall up-lighters and polished steel
lighting tracks to the kitchen and bedroom areas. All light switches
and wall sockets are high quality polished stainless steel.
Short
Breaks
Book
for a short break to unwind for a weekend or for a mid week break.
Looe is ideal for a short break being only 17 miles away from
the Tamar Bridge and fast roads. It has a railway station for
those preferring to travel by train.
Long
Breaks
Stay
for a week (or more) and begin to explore the Cornish countryside,
coast, heritage, cuisine and hospitality.
The
apartment is well placed for visiting the rest of Cornwall, and
Devon, including Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Situated very close
to the South West Coastal Path it is an ideal spot for walkers
to explore the beautiful Cornish Coast and for those that like
fishing - deep sea, coast or waterways. For those that enjoy a
game of golf the Looe Golf Club provides excellent facilities.
Two
bottles of wine are provided as a matter of course, however if
you are booking the apartment for a honeymoon or special anniversary
please let us know and we will provide a bottle of champagne and
some flowers as well. (Please
note that this offer is subject to bookings of two nights or more.)
However we are happy to arrange for flowers and champagne at cost
should your visit be only one night. Please ask when you are booking.
